Are you staying in our short term rentals at Avalon but feeling bored? Not sure what to do but don't want to go out as it's getting cold outside? We've given you some ideas in our previous posts in which you can order food from one of the restaurants near us and binge watch some Netflix shows. After that, it's time to get fit! While our gym is closed at the moment and it's too cold to go out for a run, you can still workout in one of our premium suites! There are plenty of workouts you can do at home without any equipment. In this post, we have gathered 6 different workouts you can follow along. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, we've got an idea for you.
Yoga
Yoga has been a huge trend lately. Doing yoga can not only help you relax but also helps you build muscles. It's easy to do as it doesn't require any equipment. If you search "yoga" on YouTube, the first result that shows up is most likely to be Yoga With Adrienne. She is one of the top yoga influencers on YouTube with 8.62 million subscribers up till today. She made a large variety of videos teaching yoga. She categorized her videos by length, levels, age groups, etc. If you are a beginner like me, I want to recommend "Yoga For Complete Beginners - 20 Minute Home Yoga Workout!" All you need is your body and just follow her for this 20-minute yoga practice.
If you are a professional, check out Advanced Yoga Workout ♥ Challenge Your Strength & Balance by Boho Beautiful. They are a husband-wife duo who hold yoga sessions in scenic locations, currently with 1.79 subscribers. This yoga session took place in Tofino, BC. It will not only help you gain more strength and stamina but it will also promote weight loss, fat loss, and muscle definition.
Pilates
According to Mayo Clinic, Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. A Pilates routine generally includes exercises that promote core strength and stability, muscle control, and endurance, including exercises that stress proper posture and movement patterns and balanced flexibility and strength. For both beginners and professionals, I would recommend blogilates. The channel is created by award-winning fitness instructor, entrepreneur and online personality Cassey Ho. She is the #1 female fitness channel on YouTube so you know you can trust her! For beginners, Ab Blast | BEGINNER PILATES ABS WORKOUT would be a great start. It is a level 1 Pilates routine that focuses on abs, consists of 8 exercises. For professionals, check out Core Chiseler | INTERMEDIATE PILATES ABS WORKOUT. This is an advanced version of the level 1 workout and consists of 17 exercises.
Full-body Workout
Full-body workouts are great because you get to work on all muscle groups. It can save you time from working on each muscle group each time. Especially if you're looking to lose some fat, this is the fastest way to turn your fat into muscles. For beginners, I would recommend 20 min FULL BODY Workout for TOTAL BEGINNERS (No Equipment) by MadFit. This workout is designed for total beginners so don't worry if you're just getting into fitness. This channel has 4.89 million followers and posts at-home workouts so they are totally doable at home. For professionals, I recommend 20 MIN FULL BODY WORKOUT - Intense Version / No Equipment by Pamela Reif. This routine consists of 40 exercises, each for 30 seconds and a 1-minute break after 20 exercises. This is definitely a more intense workout so make sure you don't push yourself too hard and take more breaks if you need it.
